Like Our Mugs? Meet The Artist!

Katie is the art teacher at Greenwood Middle School, but we knew her first as a loyal customer who loved our Ham and Cheddar Scones. So much so, in fact, she got a special batch to enjoy at home while on maternity leave with her second child! A few times a week Katie would come in before school for a scone and cup of coffee, always in a coffee mug from a major coffee chain whose name we do not speak.

​After talking about it one fateful Friday, she decided to do something about her mismatched coffee and mug and took matters into her own hands.

​Now she is the famous artist behind our beautiful, hand-painted travel coffee mugs. In her spare time (after teaching children all day and raising two of her own) she took the time to hand paint and fire each of our new line of mugs, so each and every one is a unique piece of art.

Katie has taught at Greenwood Middle School for ten years now and truly has a passion for art. Her favorite part about being able to teach is seeing the unique artistry every student brings to the projects they do. She never gets bored because not only is she doing what she loves but she also gets to share it with her students.
