Yes, Coffeehouse Five is a Church!
We're frequently asked if Coffeehouse Five is associated with a church. Our answer? Coffeehouse Five IS a church. So, I guess we should say, welcome to Coffeehouse Five Church!
Coffeehouse Five was born out of the belief that the local church should, more than anything else, exist to serve and meet the needs of the community in which it is placed. So the coffeehouse is open six days a week to serve the community. And our free marriage and addictions counseling meets the deep need that exists in our community to strengthen families and marriages. The coffeehouse and counseling are the primary activities of Coffeehouse Five. We also gather as a community for worship on Sunday at 11 am at our Franklin location, 41 West Monroe. Our services are informal and simple. We sing together, we study the Bible together, and we hang out together. Children are welcome and encouraged to worship with their parents. We don't mind children of all ages being part of our services. Questions? Contact lead pastor, Brian Peters, brian@coffehousefive.com or our worship leader, Jamie Satre, jamie@coffeehousefive.com. Or watch the Membership 101 video below in which Pastor Brian explains in more detail who we are, what we do and why we do what we do. |
As a local community of Christ-followers, we seek to keep things simple, and design everything around the family:
